Gerhard is a seasoned brewer with more than 25 years of experience in the brewing industry. His journey began with a deep curiosity and passion for the science behind beer, which led him to pursue formal qualifications that set him apart in the field.
He holds a Master Brewer qualification from the Institute of Brewing and Distilling. As well as an MSc in Brewing Science from the University of Nottingham, one of the leading institutions in brewing education.
Throughout his career, Gerhard has combined technical mastery with creative innovation, contributing to the development of award-winning beers and mentoring the next generation of brewers. He’ll be sharing insights from his brewing journey—what he’s learned, what’s changed, and what continues to inspire him in the world of brewing.
